Mental Health and Well-being

At St Andrews we pride ourselves on our healthy school status. We aim to support not only our children but our families too.

Meet our mental health champions

These members of staff are mental health champions, and have completed Place2Be training.

Mrs Keeley          Mrs Henson           Mr Ford             Mrs Wieland         Mrs Mint

Meet our Friendship Ambassadors

Each class has a friendship ambassador, appointed by their teacher, who has been trained by Mrs Mint to help with friendship issues in the playground.

Meet our playleaders

Our year 6's applied for the role of playleader, they are trained by a mid-day supervisor, and they regularly lead games with the younger children on a rota throughout the week. The play leaders are also trained in helping the younger children with their worries. They can help them fill in a worry slip that is put in the worry box for our learning mentor to help with.
